Rachel Murphy
Rachel Murphy started her EMS career in 2003, taking the MRT (now known as EMR) class with Monroe EMS and going straight into an EMT class after it finished. She’s been a public safety dispatcher, a CPR instructor, a certified simulated patient who helps train nursing students, and part of a team offering mass casualty training to first responder agencies.
Rachel’s been on the Executive Board as Community Relations chair a number of times, and can often be found representing Monroe EMS at events throughout town, including the farmer’s market, summer concerts at Wolfe Park or the COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
