Steve Shiskin

Steve joined Monroe EMS in 2009 and has held several key roles within our service. He spent time as the Community Relations Chair for the Executive Board, and over the past 6 years has held the position of Captain. Steve has been a part of reviewing technology for the service, as well as offering input on the purchase of new vehicles.

Steve has two grown children who watched him leave at all hours of the day and night to respond to calls. Steve consistently volunteers over 400 hours a year and works at many special events. In his spare time, he takes road trips, all over the country with his family. He also likes to play pool and reads a lot. Steve is currently obtaining his Emergency Medical Services Instructor certification and looks forward to helping out with the training of new EMT’s.
