Megan has been a volunteer in EMS for almost 30 years. She began her journey as an MRT at the age of 15 through Westport EMS’ Explorer post group.

At 17 she earned her EMT certification, and has been volunteering on ambulances ever since. Megan joined Monroe EMS in 2016. She has previously held the position as community relations chair on the executive board, and has been serving as Captain for the past 3 years. She is also one of our CPR instructors. Her favorite part about volunteering with EMS is the opportunity to give back to her community, and covering special events. Whether it’s the Sprint for Monroe or Panther Football games in the fall, she will always make sure EMS is there for coverage and support. Megan resides in Monroe, with her husband Butch, her two daughters and step-son. When she is not busy with EMS, she is an avid fan of Lacrosse, NASCAR & Music! When she isn’t cheering on her daughter and the Masuk Girls Lacrosse team, she will be watching a race on Sunday, or attending a concert.
